桃园里的桃树好多，一棵连着一棵，一眼望不到头
闲暇和放假的时候，三姐秀凤经常会带着哥哥秀远和四姐秀红，领着秀静，和巷子里的伙伴一起，去桃园里捡树叶，挖野菜。哥哥姐姐会把树叶，拢成一堆一推的，再把他们装进篮里，背回家给爸爸妈妈烧火炕用。哥哥姐姐也会满桃园的找野菜挖野菜，拿回家让妈妈凉拌或下面条吃。
那时候， 桃园里的桃树好多，一棵连着一棵，一眼望不到头。阳光在树隙里被打成一柄一柄的小伞，为秀静和哥哥姐姐遮荫凉。秀静跟着哥哥姐姐在桃园里走着，跑着，看到哪有野菜，就告诉哥哥姐姐去挖。有时也会和他们一起，在桃园里做一会游戏。
当哥哥姐姐感觉累了的时候，他们就会把桃树下的草草叶叶，拢到一块铺开当成床，让秀静和他们一起躺在上面，给秀静讲神话和鬼怪的故事，有时也讲笑话，逗得秀静和玩伴们哈哈大笑。
每每春天的时节，桃花开的可漂亮了，四处香味弥漫。当有微风吹过，花瓣就一大朵一大朵地飘落，撒的秀静和哥哥姐姐一头一身都是。秀静他们会高兴的欢叫起来，边跳边跑边抖着身子。然后，再突然一下子，捧起散落一地的桃花瓣，使劲向别的小朋友头上撒去。
当看到对方的身上头上，撒满了桃花瓣，秀静就会高兴地拍起小手，笑着喊道;“嫁新娘了!娶媳妇了!撒花瓣了!放鞭炮了!”。
